I'm a rising senior in the Graphic Design program at the University of Minnesota. I'm currently designing a cellular bioprocess engineering textbook and administering a four-day technical course for a professor in the Dept. of Chemical Engineering & Materials Science.
I enjoy blending the creative and analytical sides of design. I'm no happier than when I'm wrangling a complicated flowchart into something both easily understandable and easy on the eyes.
I have a particular passion for book design. I've loved books for as long as I can remember, and it's important to me that the information gained by today's scientists, historians, et al. is made available to others in a transparent and accessible way. So many books have been ruined by poor design, and I hope this is never the case again!
I am a purveyor of random facts and love going the extra mile to better understand the material I'm designing for. As it stands, I have an amateur background in the advanced sciences and a double minor in History and Art History, but I always love learning new things!
